Registration opened for the largest flooring tradeshow in the Asia Pacific, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2019
SHANGHAI, Feb. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR, the largest flooring tradeshow in the Asia Pacific and co-organized by VNU Exhibitions Asia, is now welcoming visitors to register for the 2019 edition, taking place from March 26th - 28th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The show is expanding this year to 175,000 sqm in 15 halls. Five halls will be dedicated to carpets and rugs, four will be dedicated to wood, bamboo and other hard floors, 1.5 to FLOORTECH asia, and the remaining 4.5 halls will be dedicated to resilient floorings for sporting, commercial, industrial and residential purposes.

Since the establishment of the show in 1999, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR has been regarded as the place to be for floor covering professionals from around the globe and a unique opportunity for manufacturers to position themselves as trendsetters of the flooring industry. A distinct display area presenting 15 renowned carpet design firms who indulge visitors with a variety of new, extravagant products. This year, three of the companies participating in the event will have their own 30 sqm booth. Luxury Brands is co-organized and sponsored by COVER Magazine, a key partner of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR.
Chinese Original Carpet Design Show
The other forward-looking concept of the 21st edition of the show is the Chinese Original Carpet Design Show. For the first time DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR will present a design competition focusing exclusively on original Chinese designs of carpets and rugs. The show aims to present local talents and introduce Chinese design trends.
InnovAction
The InnovAction flooring campaign empowers carpet, wood and resilient flooring companies to launch new products within custom showcases. It represents new trends in flooring and encourages new brands in the flooring industry to introduce or independently develop innovative techniques and materials. These flagship pavilions are designed by Kostas Chatzigiannis and his team of international architects at KCArchitecture Ltd.
