Sunsure Energy commissions 21.3 MWp Open Access Solar Power Plant for INOX Air Products in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW, India, April 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunsure Energy, one of India's leading solar power developers, has commissioned a 21.3 MWp Solar Open Access Power Plant for INOX Air Products (INOXAP). The plant, which is located in Bangarmau, district Unnao, was inaugurated on March 31, 2023, in the presence of Mr. Vinod Singh (Business Head - North India, INOXAP) and Mr. SK Jena (Head - Energy, INOXAP), Mr. Kartikeya N. Sharma (Chief – Strategy, Sunsure) and Tarunveer Singh (Head – Projects, Sunsure).

This is the largest renewable energy installation in the region and INOXAP's first dedicated Open Access Power Plant in India. This power plant will be supplying over 3.1 Crore units of green power to the Modinagar Medical Oxygen plant of INOX Air Products, thereby enabling an offset of over 27 million kgs of CO2 yearly for the next 25 years.
