Synthite Industries Limited has inaugurated its Europe office-cum-laboratory, based at the Wageningen University campus in Netherlands on 23rd June, 2017. Dr Viju Jacob, Managing Director of the Rs 2,000 crore Synthite Group said," The Indo-Dutch business relation dates back to the early fifteenth century when the Dutch ships entered the Indian waters carrying traders for the Indian spices. And now, Synthite, an Indian company, has set up its office in the Dutch land to supply its value added spice ingredients."

Back in 1972, Dr Jacob's father, Mr C. V. Jacob, started manufacturing of spice oleoresins in a modest way from the spice land of Kerala and gradually the Company has grown from pillar-to-pillar. Dr Viju Jacob said, "Our target is to achieve a turnover of Rs 3,000 crores by 2020. Keeping this in mind, we have recently established processing plants in Rajasthan and Vietnam.
