Current eDRM solutions on the market have a major weakness with regard to text files. Saving as .TXT and .CSV is a known tactic to defeat the DRM, which rely on features in proprietary executable software. Vaultize is the first company to truly protect these files from those who do not have access rights by building a secure text reader into the eDRM client. It is common to have critical human resource and financial data in these file types and with the growth in Internet of Things (IoT), sensors are increasingly generating such data. Now with Vaultize's integrated editing software and eDRM, these files are finally secure.
This release also extends Vaultize's Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) beyond system login to secure our patented Vault KNOX solution. Vault KNOX performs military-grade encryption of data together with de-duplication on user devices at the source itself and access to that data is now more secure and completely under the control of IT. In fact, the encryption keys themselves are now secured by MFA. This upgrade also provides SMS as an option for MFA. Additionally the Vaultize platform has MFA capability built into its platform so in addition to fully supporting and integrating with Radius, companies that want the convenience and control of a built in solution can now take advantage of it.
