- Mobile is more than a search device in India today as MCommerce has climbed up by 130% within a year, accounting for 58% of online sales in India today.
- Lifestyle and classifieds are stronger on mobile - over 55% shoppers from these verticals search and shop on mobile devices.
- App is the bigger contributor to sales than MWeb across verticals.
- Desktop is equally popular as mobile amongst general retail shoppers in India.
- The average order value on the desktop is 1.2X higher implying that online shoppers prefer desktop for high value purchases.
