BEIJING, Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 13, 2014, Wanda Hotels and Resorts held its first grand annual brand forum and ceremony with the theme "China Brands Future". Nearly three hundred guests gathered together with both foreign and domestic media to enjoy a feast of high-end hotel brands. The forum was held at Wanda Realm Beijing Hotel. Mr. David Cheng, President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts gave the welcome speech while Mr. Zhang Rungang, Chairman of the China Tourist Hotel Association, also gave an excellent keynote speech.

The 2013 Brand Ceremony for Wanda Hotels and Resorts covered two sectors -- the brand forum and brand ceremony. First, Mr. Daniel Voellm, the Managing Director of Great China and Bangkok of HVS delivered the "2013 Brand Development Report for Wanda Hotels and Resorts". The brand forum gathered the industry elite, clashing with extraordinary dialogue of the industrial peak: Mr. James Lu, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Hotel Association, along with Mr. Michael Stevens, Vice President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts, Director - Nigel Summers of Horwath HTL, Director Jesper Palmqvrst of Asia Pacific for STR Global, and Senior Vice President - Maria Sun of Ctrip.com all engaged in a profound discussion on the topic of "Status and Development Trends of Five-star Hotel Brands in China".
