Sentrycs Offers Ranger a Portable C-UAS Solution with Mitigation Capabilities for less than $100,000 Helping States Maximize FEMA's Latest Round of Grant Funding

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama, Oct. 29, 2026 /CNW/ -- Sentrycs, an Ondas Inc. (Nasdaq: ONDS) company specializing in Cyber-over-RF counter-drone technology, today announced a $99,000 firm-fixed-price offering for its portable Sentrycs Ranger (formerly Scout) system, including three years of maintenance. Configured for detection, tracking, identification and mitigation (DTIM), the offering is designed to help state and local agencies expand airspace awareness against unlawful drones, distribute capabilities across more operational teams and plan long-term support costs as FEMA opens its next round of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) grant funding.

FEMA's October 16 announcement provides an additional $250 million of federal funding for all 50 states as well as five territories and the District of Columbia (a total of 56 recipients). This latest round of funding enables a nationwide expansion of CUAS capabilities, bolstering the 11 states from e Phase One and granting 45 more regions money to start counter-drone operations.

Sentrycs Ranger, a highly portable handheld solution, already listed on the Safer Skies Authorized Systems List (as Sentrycs Horizon), brings Sentrycs' field-proven Cyber-over-RF technology to a portable platform for mobile and tactical operations. In the configuration offered, Ranger uses passive radio frequency (RF) sensing and advanced protocol manipulation to detect, track and identify drone threats, giving operators actionable real-time airspace intelligence and proven mitigation capabilities.

The $99,000 package combines a complete DTIM (Detection, Tracking, Identification and Mitigation) system and years of maintenance in a predictable investment. It is designed to support operational adoption by helping agencies plan deployments across teams and locations while retaining budget flexibility for software, support, training and maintenance.

"Expanding national counter-drone readiness means putting actionable capabilities into the hands of more operational teams," said Tal Cohen, Sentrycs CEO. "This Ranger offering advances our strategy of scaling field-proven defense and security technologies across public safety missions. It gives agencies a practical entry point into a broader counter-UAS capability, with predictable maintenance costs and room to evolve as operational requirements grow."

Sentrycs Ranger is part of a comprehensive set of C-UAS technologies offered by Ondas that includes Cyber over RF, Passive RF detection, Radar, Electro Optical and Acoustic sensors to support comprehensive detection against any type of drone threat.

"Agencies need to establish visibility today while planning for tomorrow's requirements," said Jason Moore, General Manager for the US and Canada at Sentrycs. "By combining passive RF detection, tracking and identification with mitigation in a highly portable form factor, we are changing the game for law enforcement users. When you combine the product capabilities with the commercial benefits we are enabling our public safety partners with a simple, effective and proven solution for their communities."

The offering builds on Sentrycs' role within Ondas' counter-UAS portfolio, extending protocol-based technology into mobile public safety operations and supporting adaptive protection for sensitive sites and public gatherings.

Ranger is available through authorized Sentrycs distributors and partners. Agencies evaluating purchases under FEMA's C-UAS Grant Program should coordinate with their State Administrative Agency regarding funding eligibility and procurement requirements.
