In the past one year, Adda52.com has conducted freeroll tournaments across India from colleges in Lucknow to leagues in Goa to restaurants in Delhi. The first such poker tournament was held at the Underdoggs Pub in New Delhi on February 2013 which was a freeroll and had 110 participants. Adda52.com had given away prizes worth Rs.1,00,000 at this event. After tasting success here, the process was extended to poker leagues as satellites were conducted with India Poker Series (IPS), India Poker Championship (IPC) and Golden Aces Poker League (GAPL). For these tie-ups Adda52.com conducted Freeroll satellites on its poker platform and sent winning players to play in actual physical tourneys in Goa and Colombo.
To reach out to college students, Freeroll tournaments were held in IIM Lucknow, IIT Indore and Punjab University Chandigarh. The participation was huge in this initiative with colleges to introduce poker as a game of skill to students. Another collaboration was done with TAAZA TV in Kolkata in February 2014 in a masses event.
The crown jewel was the tie-up with the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Manila to become the official satellite partner for their Manila event in September 2013. Here adda52 had satellites and gave away seats to the APT Manila which was held in the Philippines Capital and is a premier poker tournament in the Asian poker circuit.
