Adder Partners with EIZO to Offer Monitor Calibration over an IP Network

Adder Technology, the high performance keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) specialist, has announced a formal partnership with EIZO Limited, the multi award-winning monitor specialist. Under the terms of the business relationship, EIZO will cross-promote the AdderLink Infinity product range to the film, media and publishing industries for the calibration of its ColorEdge monitors over a standard IP network.

The AdderLink Infinity range enables a user to operate a computer workstation even when separated by significant distances without compromising on functionality, video resolution, quality or USB latency. This makes it ideal for use in the post-production environment where editors can collaborate, in real-time, with animators and colourists that are located on the same network, and be overseen by producers and directors.

Adder Technology used EIZO ColorEdge monitors to demonstrate the latest functionality offered by the v3.0 firmware for AdderLink Infinity at IBC earlier this month and at the KVM Roadshow event held in Soho in July. The latest firmware release offers core benefits for post-production applications. These include double the bandwidth capability of previous versions to enable guaranteed lossless compressed video speeds of up to 60 FPS with audio.
