BRC Global Standards has launched BRC Global Standards Professional, an academic recognition programme for technical and quality staff in the food, packaging, storage, distribution, retail or consumer products industries who wish to become recognized as a qualified expert on product safety management practices, using the BRC Global Standards as a foundation. Successful individuals working in product safety management will be recognised as an expert on the BRC Global Standard relevant to their site's scope of certification.

Designed to enable individuals to tailor their own learning requirements, the programme is open to all professionals working in manufacturing and supply chains, and is especially useful for technical and quality staff involved in implementing product safety management systems.
