Ansal University Appoints Eminent Academician Dr. C. S. Nagpal as Vice Chancellor

Ansal University, Gurgaon, a private university dedicated to providing advanced education with the futuristic trans-disciplinary learning approach, has announced the appointment of Dr. C.S. Nagpal as Vice Chancellor. Dr. Nagpal comes with a vast experience of over 41 years and replaces Dr. Raj Singh who has moved on after ably guiding the University through its formative phases. 

Dr. Nagpal has served various roles ranging from Professor, Head, Dean, Executive Director, Vice President and Advisor during his illustrious academic career. He has shaped educational processes in Himachal Pradesh University (Shimla), Punjabi University (Patiala), Apeejay Satya Group, IMS Education Society (Dehradun), Havells India Ltd., Jaipuria Group of Institutions (Ghaziabad) and others. Prior to joining the Ansal University as Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nagpal was associated with IMS Ghaziabad as Executive Director. He has also been associated with the Ansal Group of Institutions as Group Director cum Advisor in an earlier capacity where he primarily managed group institutions and played a key role in the establishment of the University.

Born in 1949 in a small town of Punjab, Dr. Nagpal completed his schooling in 1967, followed by advanced graduate and post-graduate degrees in Economics with meritorious positions from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Subsequently, he completed his Doctorate from Himachal Pradesh University and pursued an MBA degree from Punjab Technical University. He received advanced trainings in Training and Development, Quality Control and Computers from Institute of Training and Development, BVQI and PGSM Paris. He has visited a number of universities in UK, France, Scotland, USA and Canada for deliberations on foreign collaborative arrangements and understanding their model of technical education. He has also been actively engaged in guiding Ph.D. scholars in the area of industrialization process, management of natural resources and diversification of economic activities. 

Dr. Nagpal has published two reference books in Economics, edited two books and a set of 15 volumes on various aspects of economic policy and some highly acclaimed research papers/articles published in national/international journals.
