APR Energy Renews and Expands Indonesia Power Contracts
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- APR Energy, the global leader in large scale, fast-track power solutions, announces today that it has signed 115MW of extensions on two of its power generation contracts in Indonesia, one of the world's largest markets for distributed power and grid stability projects. Additionally, APR Energy has been awarded a contract extension and 5MW expansion on a third site, bringing its total capacity in the country to 135MW.

APR Energy's 75MW Medan contract has been extended through the end of 2015, while its 40MW Padang contract has been extended through Q2 2015. The term of APR Energy's awarded contract extension and expansion in Nias will run through Q1 2016.
In operation since 2013, APR Energy's plants are located at five sites on the islands of Nias and Sumatra and feature the latest advances in fuel-efficient, diesel reciprocating engine technology. Since coming online, the plants have helped to significantly reduce the frequency of blackouts in the areas they serve, improving the productivity of schools, homes and businesses by providing much needed reliable power and grid stability.
