Thus, the Best Foods' manufacturing plant is controlled through PLC system to check real-time performance and trends and has been installed in complete isolation to other areas like cleaning section or storage, making this line free from cross contamination and infestation. As rice is being packed through automated means only, i.e. filling, sealing, taping, strapping etc., there is no direct human touch to the product, making it 100% hygienically safe. Moreover, the product is passing through highly accurate and sensitive metal detectors which have been installed online to make it 100% metal free.
With firm commitment towards quality, Best Foods has installed the most modern packing machines (i.e. Guill pack-Spain, LeePack - South Korea and Nichrome India) thereby, giving highly accurate and zero defect output. The state-of-the-art plant has an automated packing capacity of 300 mt per day and six separate lines of packing are available to cater to the demand of all pack sizes ranging from 1 kg to 5 kg.
Online fumigation system has been introduced to avoid leakage, keeping in view human safety, mishandling and wastage, and the plant operation is under CCTV surveillance to control human activity inside process and packing plant. The plant is equipped with LED lighting and hybrid board ceiling as per USFDA standards. Moreover, the plant floor has been built at an elevated level to avoid rodent entry. For plant's safety, fire alarms and extinguishers are placed at every location.
