BMW Plant Chennai has Rolled out the 40,000th Locally Produced Car

BMW Plant Chennai has rolled out the 40,000th locally produced car. The BMW Plant Chennai locally produces the BMW 1 Series, the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1, the BMW X3 and the BMW X5. BMW Plant Chennai started operations in 2007 and since then has continued to expand the local production portfolio in India. The facility is located in the Mahindra World City business zone near Chennai, Tamilnadu. State-of-the-art machine technology, highly skilled employees and advanced manufacturing processes provide all the necessary ingredients for the production of premium cars to the highest quality standards.
