CampusHunt.in has been a dream project since Raheesh's undergrad days. "I have noticed how unorganised is the education industry. Talking to several of my peers and juniors, I saw how frustrated they are by the high fees, hidden charges and complexity of the admission system," said Raheesh. "So many students from small towns miss out on applying in good colleges simply because such information is not available to them. Students also feel cheated as most consultants and education portals hide information regarding college's facilities, fee details and campus recruitment data," he added.

After several brainstorming sessions with his brothers and his team, this concept of revolutionising higher studies, through an interactive portal, driven by data was born.

CampusHunt.in is all about ensuring comprehensiveness, transparency and accessibility in higher education. Too often we hear horrifying tales of students joining substandard colleges and paying exorbitant fees. Some of the colleges do not even have the mandatory accreditations or approvals rendering their education and certificates useless. "How can one be sure if a college is affiliated to a reputed university? What if the campus recruitment rate is low? This is why we have the option for doing a background check on each college," said Raheesh.

Using the CampusHunt.in portal, students can check the affiliated university, accreditations (NAAC, NBA, AICTE etc.) faculties' qualification, total course fees, companies that have come for campus recruitment, percentage of students recruited and the average salary offered by recruiters in the previous years.

"We even put up detailed photographs of the campus and facilities so that the students are completely sure of where they want to study," added Raheesh. "Since we don't take money from colleges for listing, you can be assured of full transparency and accuracy of information. Whatever data we have collected is done after directly visiting the campuses mapping it into the algorithm."

Apart from college listings, CampusHunt.in also has the complete database of all the important entrance exams and scholarships in India including their application dates, download links, eligibility and fee details.

The team has tasted success within the first week of their launch. Already, over 2000 students have applied for admission through CampusHunt.in.

"2016 is going to be a big year for us as we have already conducted extensive career guidance programs in various PUC colleges and schools in south India. We are planning several more across the country.
