Jagaha.com will soon be the only online property site in India where users can search for properties by the useable area, that is the 'carpet area'.
RERA has changed India's real estate industry and Jagaha.com has taken notice with one of the most important changes being that developers now have to quote prices of Indian properties by their carpet area, the actual useable area. Prior to this and unfortunately still to this day, real estate owners want to show that their property is less expensive than their competitors so they often quote by the built-up area, which includes the carpet area as well as the thickness of the walls and any balcony area, and even worse some quote by 'super built up area', which is the built up area as well as portions of the lobby, lifts, stairs, parking garage and any other common areas.

This was rarely the case before and the change to quoting in carpet area is because of RERA.
