Change of Guard at Parul University

With immediate effect, Dr. Devanshu Patel, the Vice President of the university has effectively taken over the role and responsibility of the president's office. The previous President, Dr. Jayesh Patel has resigned amid allegations of sexual misconduct by one of the university students. Dr. Devanshu Patel stated, "It is in the best interest of the institute that the change of guard is enforced so as to convince all stakeholders (teachers, faculty, management, students and parents) that Parul University will continue the tradition of delivering education and knowledge in the spirit of innovation, transparency, integrity and within the ethical framework as defined by its founding fathers. Dr. Jayesh Patel has stepped down so as to cooperate with the authorities to clear his name and effectively crush all allegations against him."

With over 28 educational institutes, Parul University has been enlightening young lives since the last 25 years. The institute has more than 27,000 students in its campus, which includes 16000 male students and 11000 female students. Parul University has over 2500 teachers and employees in this educational campus which includes more than 1500 female teachers and employees. There are more than 2000 female students that are residing in the hostel's campus. Apart from the national students, the university is also successfully touching the lives of more than 500 male and female foreign students that are residing in the campus.

In the past 25 years, more than one lac students have built a successful career after graduating from the different institutes of the Parul University. For students, Parul University campus has proven to be a conducive and safe educational campus during all these years and will also remain so in future.
