Co-located Technology Fairs Return With Smart and Sustainable Automation Solutions for Gujarat's Manufacturing Sector
MUMBAI, March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Concurrent Seminar Focused on Taking Forward Make-in-India Vision to Enhance India's Manufacturing Competitiveness
Propelled by the growing vibrancy of Gujarat as a manufacturing hub, reputed technology companies from India, China, Germany, Italy and Taiwan are set to come together to initiate collaborations with industrialists and manufacturers for their technology needs in Gujarat, this April. The co-located technology fairs - SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India - bringing together these technology partners will be open from 7-9 April at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Manufacturing professionals visiting the show can witness exciting technologies including an arc welding robot that can double productivity and create a symbiotic co-existence of humans and robots in hazardous environments. The robot is being displayed by Yaskawa India along with other exciting technologies like a new generation AC Drive GA 700, low harmonics regenerative matrix convertor and solutions for a solar pump. Showcasing technologies of its German counterpart, VIPA Automation India Pvt Ltd will bring new advanced motion controllers and integrated engineering software for PLCs along with HMI, drives and robots.
Automation Combine, the sales and support partner for a group of European companies, will be showcasing advanced technology products in sensors, lighting, vision & ID, housing technology, smart energy, power quality along with PROFIBUS & PROFINET solutions and protocol convertors.
Some of the other cost-optimising technologies that will be on display are Siemens' range of smart PLCs, Murrelektronik's range of SMPS & intelligent current distributor, Frecon's FR100 & FR200 Series VFD through their distributor Themis Automation, INTORQ's range of electromagnetic brakes and clutches, high speed sensors and encoders by Taiwan manufacturer Chiarey Enterprises, metal clad braking resistors by Onics, DeltaPac and a reliable gap-less sensing device by SICK India.
An Italian delegation looking at establishing ties with domestic distributors are also coming to Gujarat. The companies will be present at the special Italian pavilion and comprise leading technology brands under the aegis of ANIE (Federazione Nazionale Imprese Elettrotecniche ed Elettroniche). Companies such as Camozzi S.P.A, Datalogic Automation S.R.E, ESA Elettronica S.P.A, Italtronic S.R.E, Pizzato Elettrica S.R.L, Reer S.P.A, Brevetti Stendalto S.p.A, Asem S.P.A. The growing focus on the manufacturing sector in India demands greater automation and technology adoption. The government has already set a target to increase manufacturing's share in the GDP from the current 16% to 25% by 2022, implying that manufacturing will grow from $150 billion now to $750 billion. The recently held Make-in-India week concluded with the commitment to achieving this vision of 25% contribution to GDP through manufacturing and attracting large investments in Gujarat. These vast opportunities underline the role that the co-located fairs can play in successfully connecting technology players to manufacturers and trade influencers from this vital region.
Apart from gaining first-hand experience on smart, safe and sustainable automation solutions, manufacturing professionals can meet technology experts at the knowledge seminar scheduled alongside the show on 8th April. One of the challenges across industries is integration of various automation platforms in an existing manufacturing environment. The SPS Automation Seminar focused on applications for manufacturing competitiveness will take this up through important subjects aiming at economical automation solutions for SMEs to sector-wise automation applications for pharma, FMCG, F&B manufacturing, power sector and oil & gas refinery to creating a connected enterprise for making plant automation intelligent.
Jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd with German companies Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH and P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, the fair will open in Ahmedabad on 7 April 2016.
