Engaging and integration of concepts were key themes at the 10th edition of COLOROTHON with Little Buddy Kindergarten giving company.

It is not easy to keep people's interest sustained throughout the day, especially if children are participating. But the Sunday (February 25, 2018) saw seamless integration of fun, entertainment and most importantly focus on a spectrum of social cause.
How was this achieved? The answer is provided by MJ Srikant, a renowned strategist, founder-CEO of MJSPR and Convenor of Little Buddy Kindergarten COLOROTHON. "Having taken up COLOROTHON - Season 10 as an organizer, our primary objective was to structure an event platform in a way that there is an ecosystem built around it which delivers immense value by organically engaging public. We were fairly successful as we elevated the nature of the event to another level with social integrations of varying shades and causes. It created multiple reasons for people and organizations to come together on a single platform and engage effectively."

Organized in the lap of nature, the Hennur Tree Park, near Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru, Little Buddy COLOROTHON, Season 10, saw children as young as 3 years, teens, and senior citizens manifesting their imagination. The paintings were a curation and reflection of diverse thoughts, social issues, nature and shades of life.

COLOROTHON collectively addressed myriad social causes and sensitized the public with talk on Self Defence by Antra Bhargav - One of India's first woman to receive a Black Belt in Taekwondo; a workshop on Child Abuse by Faith Foundation; and a talk on Eye Donation by the founder of 'Project Vision' Fr. George Kannathanam.
The line-up of entertainment and special activities ranging from drums circle, caricature, laughter therapy, doodle artist, origami artist, interactive street magic by Rakesh Regan, yoga session by Chaitra Chaya Seva, and toon figures by Agni - Art for All, enthralled the public grippingly.
"Eminent artists selected 15 best paintings across 5 different age groups and rewarded them. In the coming month, we are organizing the largest open-air painting exhibition, wherein the best paintings from COLOROTHON will be featured for auction and the proceedings will go to various charitable organizations," remarked, Kishore Joseph, Founder Trustee, Breathe Entertainment.
Earlier in the day, Dr. HT Sangliana, super cop and former MP, inaugurated Little Buddy COLOROTHON Season 10 by lighting the lamp and releasing balloons. Senior Doodle artist Sridhar Comeravalli sketched a doodle of Sangliana.
Engaging children and youth Sandalwood Actress, Sonal Monteiro, encouraged them to make life a colourful journey to achieving their dreams. Popular artists painted live, and inspired budding artists. Every participant went home with a certificate.
The event concluded with KJ George, the Minister for Bengaluru Development and Town Planning, sketching live at the venue. The minister said, "I wholeheartedly thank the organizers MJSPR and Breathe Entertainment for having put up such a thoughtful event where people irrespective of religion, caste, creed and gender could come together and express their thoughts on paper. Above all, children getting an opportunity to learn and understand about various social causes would ensure they grow up unbiased and become responsible citizens."
