Be it Scooby's snack or his XXL sandwiches, Dexter's scientific experiments, Harry Potter's dinner at Hogwarts or Flintstone's famous roast, the festival will have it all.
The chefs at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai have gone through hours, days and months of comic book/journal reading, conversations with superhero/cartoon fanatics, watching movies/documentaries, expert opinions from DC and CN themselves and a lot more.
Says Executive Chef Suresh Thampy, "We didn't want to limit ourselves to character-shaped food. Hence, we studied every character, superhero and cartoon series to find their likes, dislikes, favorite foods and more. The food served on the brunch buffet will have this research as its major influence."
If you think it's only the food that will take center stage, you'll be surprised to know how everything (and not just food) is designed to create an experience. Guests can opt to choose from various experiences like getting themselves painted by professional tattoo artists, participating in the treasure hunt or indulging themselves in the DIY cooking workshop.
A professional drama group known for its antics with clowns, fictional characters and divas will coordinate this experience.
