The conference focused on various aspects of packaging with a global packaging perspective which focused on driving sustainability through innovations in drug packaging. This gathering also helped the industry to generate exposure and enter newer and uncharted markets.
The gathering which promised to be the biggest platform for Pharma Packaging Innovations saw the presence of intellectual minds that met and discussed the new facets, pressing challenges, advanced packaging solutions and way forward for the pharmaceutical industry in India. It also had case study discussions on child resistant packaging, track and trace packaging design, serialization, focus on customer safety, 3D Printing and panel discussions by dignitaries on Prefilled Syringes and Extractable and Leachable which were followed by Q & A sessions.
The conference was inaugurated by Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, the Honorable Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and Dr. K Bangarurajan Deputy Drugs Controller (India), Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) who extensively discussed the Indian and export regulations for pharmaceutical packaging.
