CSA Group India Laboratory Receives Accreditation under CB Scheme for IT Medical and Laboratory Test and Measurement Equipment
BANGALORE, India, July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CSA Group, a leading global provider of standards development and testing and certification services, announced today that its laboratory in Bangalore, India received the CB accreditation for IT, medical and lab, test and measurement equipment. CSA Group's lab is the ONLY test facility in India that is accredited under the CB scheme for all three major electronics and medical device segments.

CBTL accreditation complements the existing accreditations of the CSA Group lab in India: National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) to ISO 17025 and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). CSA Group India can evaluate the test requirements initially and offer an integrated test program to facilitate a complete compliance solution for manufacturers offering a one-stop service for global market.
The CSA Group India laboratory is also accredited for product categories including Audio Video Apparatus (IS 616/IEC 60065) and LED Lamps (IS 16102/IEC 62560). In addition, the lab offers environmental testing including Ingress Protection Testing (IEC 60529) in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.
