Dogsee Chews Vows to Get 1000 Stray Dogs Adopted This Year, Make India Stray Dogs Free by 2025

The company has partnered with renowned names in the pet adoption world, Bengaluru Opts To Adopt (BOTA) and Voice Of Stray Dogs (VOSD), to spread awareness and build mechanism for people to adopt stray and abandoned shelter dogs instead of buying them.

The VOSD sanctuary was founded by Rakesh Shukla in 2011, a personal initiative that rescues and treats sick, injured and old stray dogs. Through multiple incidents of legal issues, online and offline harassment and some premeditated attacks on his rescue staff, the techie has managed to keep VOSD afloat and created a safe base for the 780 dogs they house at the moment.
