World Homeopathy Day is celebrated on 10th April every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. Dr. Hahnemann, a German MD discovered homeopathy in 1796. This was brought to India in 1835 through the court of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Patiala by a French physician, Dr. John Martin Honigberger.
