The award was presented by Chief Guest FC Kohli, Former deputy chairman, Tata Consultancy Services  and was received by Niranjan Hiranandani at a grand ceremony in city in the presence of dignitaries from the industry.

The IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award was instituted in 1996 by the Indian Merchants' Chamber with a purpose of spreading awareness for quality and fostering competitiveness in Indian Industry. The award was conferred upon Dr. LH Hiranandani Hospital after a rigorous and exhaustive training and evaluation on the parameters like healthcare services and state-of-the-art medical facilities.
