Exhilway Global Opportunities Private Equity Fund Approaches Initial Close

Exhilway, one of the most prevalent emerging markets private equity funds with key focus on India and Africa based buyout investment opportunities, is imminent to an initial close of US $200 million for its private equity fund called Exhilway Global Opportunities Fund I (EGO I). The fund will invest in the designated 37 companies from the differentiated business sectors to portion the risks of the investment.
The fund which has comprehended some technical snags in the last nine months is now impending a grand close. The fund will begin the course of monetizing investment commitments by the end of June and plans to accomplish investments in the portfolio companies by August this year. EGO I is divided into two series namely Series A and B of US $250 million and US $750 million each.
