Festive Season at VR Bengaluru, Whitefield Till November 3rd
BENGALURU, Oct. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The celebratory season is on and to brighten everyone's faces, VR Bengaluru presents consumers with Whitefield Diwali, a one-month-long festival, that will go on till November 3rd.
Earlier this month, VR Bengaluru celebrated Whitefield Dasara festivities with great pomp and show, where, VR Bengaluru entertained everyone with the shopping bazaar and mesmerizing dance performances by the local folk troupes of Karnataka. The celebrations ended on a high note with Disco Dandiya, Raas Dandiya, Kolata, Dollu Kunitha performances at the Skydeck and Garden City of the centre.
The festivities of Whitefield Diwali started on October 12th and will end on November 3rd with Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations. A specially curated shopping oasis was created on October 12th & 13th in association with LBB to kick off Diwali in style. It was a one-stop destination for décor items, handicraft products, home décor, fashion accessories and not to forget the delicacies.
In addition to the Indian festivals, VR Bengaluru is also celebrating Halloween on October 19th with a perfect Family Day Out event for children. A ticketed family event with a variety of workshops, stage shows and activities will be held for family entertainment. A flea market stall curated by entrepreneur moms will remain another key highlight of this day.
VR Bengaluru continues to engage the Literary and Art communities under their very own Whitefield Literary Society, in meaningful and socially relevant discussions with the fourth chapter of 'Salon with Shree' on October 19th. In this session, the best-selling novelist Sreemoyee Piu Kundu will host four powerful female community members. Madhu Natraj (Danseuse, Choreographer, Art Entrepreneur), Anita Ratnam (Performer, Art Entrepreneur), D Roopa Moudgil (IGP, IPS), Madhumita Venkataraman (Diversity & Inclusion Evangelist). The theme of this session is 'Reincarnation of the Mother Goddess in daily life'. The festive spree at VR Bengaluru brings down the curtain with a three-day grand celebration of Karnataka Rajyotsava from November 1st to 3rd. A series of cultural activities will be scheduled on all three days, while November 2nd will witness the captivating performance of Raghu Dixit and Swarathma Concert. A movie screening will be held on the last day of the celebration at the Skydeck - open air experience zone. Extravagant stalls with a variety of authentic local cuisines to satiate one's taste buds and a Bazaar for every shopaholic will be held on all three days.
