Finalists for VCCircle Awards 2015 Announced, Winners to be Declared on February 18

The Names of the Winners Will be Announced on February 18, 2014 at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai

The fourth edition of VCCircle Awards, which will recognise, honour and celebrate the entrepreneurial ventures, which have created fast growing and sustainable businesses with the backing of private equity and venture capital funding, will be held on the evening of February 18, 2015, at Trident, Nariman Point in Mumbai.

VCCircle Awards, which is held annually, is the first of its kind as it honours companies and the entrepreneurs who have created tremendous shareholder value, who have created an impact on the industry they operate in, led innovation, and shown consistent performance. These companies will be picked by an expert jury handpicked from India Inc.

As the winners will be announced and honoured at the celebratory awards gala dinner on February 18, 2015 at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai, we are thrilled to announce the final nominations for the 17 award categories.

The final nominations were picked from applicants based on a variety of qualitative and quantitative parameters - such as financial performance, growth, brand salience, innovations, the quality of management and business, return on capital employed, etc. (See awards.vccircle.com)

This year 'Kris' Gopalakrishnan, co-founder and former vice chairman of Infosys, chaired VCCircle Awards jury, along with eminent members like Luis Miranda, former CEO of IDFC Private Equity; Gaurav Dalmia, chairman, Landmark Holdings; Archana Hingorani, CEO, IL&FS Investment Managers; Soumya Rajan, co-founder, CEO and MD, Waterfield Advisors; and Bala Deshpande, senior MD, NEA India Ltd.

The jury examined several pages of information on these companies prepared by VCCEdge/VCCircle research team and conducted enquiries on the quality of the businesses and managements. Shortlisted nominations were judged and ranked on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best) by all the jury members to give out the final verdict on the winners, which will be announced next week.
