FOEX announces new PIX indices for Recovered Paper in Germany
FOEX Indexes Ltd announces the publication of three new PIX price indices for recovered paper in Germany.
HELSINKI, Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on thorough research and several months of collaboration with FOEX's sister company RISI and key players in the German recovered paper sector, the new indices are designed to specifically serve stakeholders of the extensive 16 million tonne German recovered paper market.
The new PIX RCP Germany indices are monthly price averages and are published on the second Tuesday of the following month at 11am CET.
The new PIX indices include:
- PIX RCP Mixed 1.02 GER for CEN 1.02 Mixed paper & board, sorted (Sortiertes Gemischtes Altpapier)
- PIX OCC 1.04 GER for CEN Supermarket corrugated paper & board (Kaufhausaltpapier), and
- PIX ONP/OMG 1.11 GER for CEN 1.11 Sorted graphic paper for deinking (Sortierte Deinkingware).
In collaboration with RISI, the new PIX prices will be published in a new monthly German-language newsletter.
The new PIX indices are compiled solely by FOEX using the audited and well-known PIX methodology (including both buyers and sellers of the product represented equally), with market commentary in German language provided by native German news editors of RISI.
