Franchise Asia: The Top 100 Franchises in India 2017

It's been done for the US, it's been done for Europe, it's even been done for the globe…but never before was it done for India. This month Franchise Asia has published The Top 100 Franchises in India, an official, up-to-date list of the best franchise opportunities currently available for entrepreneurs in this country. This is the first time that anyone has compiled a report such as this for the franchise industry in India.

FranchiseAsia.com provides an online directory for people who are looking to invest in a franchise in India or abroad, and its team members felt that the calculation of this sort of list was long overdue. For weeks they scrutinised companies, franchise associations and franchise disclosure documents, gathering vital information about the opportunities available. They found out the size of the franchisors in India and abroad, how long they'd had franchise units running in the country, how much it costs to invest in them, what the franchisee's annual revenue is, and more.

All of these factors were then entered into a formula to unbiasedly calculate whether or not the franchise was worthy enough to make it into the Top 100 list, and what its position was.
