In a move to expand its presence in India, global sales and marketing firm ZS announced its plan to open an office in Bangalore. This is the global consulting firm's third office in India and its 23rd office worldwide. ZS has a strong presence in the life sciences and healthcare area, and this expansion will help deepen its commitment to current and potential business lines in India.

For more than 35 years, ZS has been dedicated to helping companies around the world and across multiple industries address a wide range of sales and marketing issues. Currently, ZS' New Delhi and Pune offices have more than 3,900 employees who work across the business consulting, business operations, and business technology and software development spaces. ZS will invest in its Bangalore office as the advanced analytics sector continues to boom in the region.

ZS Principal Shankar Viswanathan will lead the Bangalore office. He currently leads ZS' advanced data science group in India. The group leverages diverse data, AI platforms and the latest machine learning algorithms to solve their clients' complex problems. Prior to his current role, he was the office Managing Principal for ZS' largest office in Pune and led its pan-India business consulting group. During his more than 18 years at ZS, Viswanathan has helped many global life sciences companies enhance their customer effectiveness using data-driven approaches, increase patient access to novel treatments, optimize the patient experience, improve retention and realize better health outcomes. Bringing data science to life sciences is his passion.
