GlobalLogic Expands Leadership Team with Hire of Sumit Sood

SAN JOSE, California, March 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobalLogic today announced that Sumit Sood has joined the company as managing director of India, reporting to CEO Shashank Samant. In his role, Sood will manage and oversee all of the India center operations, and will be based in GlobalLogic's Noida offices.
Sood brings over 18 years of experience in product engineering, and has spent the past 14 years at Virtusa, a global IT services company. As the former SVP of Outsourcing & Transformation Services, he worked closely with various Fortune 100 banks and telecom companies. Sood successfully expanded the company's client services business in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions, and also helped establish European operations for the company's banking and insurance verticals. Sood has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science from Punjab University and a postgraduate diploma in business management (finance) from XLRI Jamshedpur.
