Globsyn Business School (GBS) launched its Management Development Programs (MDPs) for the academic session 2016-17 on November 12, 2016. The MDPs, which act as an interface between the industry and academia and enhances the learning quotient of corporate managers, were launched at the Director's Nite event of the B-school. The Director's Nite was organized to thank and gratefully acknowledge the support of its corporate partners who inspire GBS to take itself to the next level.

Globsyn Business School has always championed the cause of the industry, through its MDPs. The MDPs launched by GBS in association with Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, include Finance for Non-Finance Managers, Strategic Brand Management, Performance Management & Competency Mapping, Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Innovations in Service Marketing and Strategic Cost Management.
Finance for Non-Finance Managers is a session designed for the professional development of managers from all non-financial verticals of an organization. Strategic Brand Management delves deep into the various strategies which conceives, sustains and nurtures a brand. Performance Management & Competency Mapping provides the participants an insight into the nuances of the monitoring and reviewing of an employee's contribution to the organization. Supply Chain Management & Logistics will make the participants familiar with the comprehensive supply chain management of any organization. Innovation in Service Marketing is dedicated to the introduction and analysis of the dynamic changes required in the service delivery system. Strategic Cost Management is a program wherein participants will get to know the various strategies being implemented in the industry to reduce overall cost of organizations. More such programs will be launched in the coming financial year.
The Management Development Programs would be delivered by faculty of international repute such as Dr. Pradyot K Sen (Professor and Associate Dean at Bothell School of Business, University of Washington), Dr. Surya D Pathak (Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management who leads the signature Management Consulting program in Bothell School of Business, University of Washington), Dr. Robert Brooks Gekler (Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Strategy, Bothell School of Business, University of Washington), Dr. PV Lakshmipathy (a renowned academician of national and international repute, who has trained more than 80,000 managers worldwide for more than four decades), Prof. Salem Ganapathy (an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad who has more than 30 years of versatile experience across several corporate houses), Prof. DP Ghosh (rich expertise in advertising and brand building and associated with institutions like IIM Calcutta, XLRI-Jamshedpur, ICFAI Business School, IISWBM and more), Dr. Subir Sen (Dean & HoD-Finance of Globsyn Business School) and Dr. (Prof.) Debaprasad Chattopadhya (HoD-HR, Globsyn Business School).
