• Ustad Allarakha was a unique musician who was the first to dwell in fusion music
• He collaborated with Jazz artists of his time, even played with western classical musicians along with Ravi Shankar and Yehudi Menuhin
• This concert is a tribute to his versatility and musicianship
• This year the concert took place on 28th April, 2014 at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra West. The concept this year was to present three different genres of music on stage: Indian Classical Music; Western Classical Music & Jazz
• The three styles were presented individually and then together in a finale piece which was a specially composed piece. The concert featured the coming together of some of the country's top-most musicians - Fazal Qureshi, Louiz Banks, Gino Banks, Rakesh Chaurasia and Sheldon D'souza, to name a few
