Sundaram Solai Promoted to Principal and Managing Director of Global Engineering Firm
CHICAGO, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sundaram Solai has been named a new Principal and also Managing Director of the U.S. Northeast Operating Group of Greeley and Hansen, a leading global civil and environmental engineering, architectural, and management consulting firm in water infrastructure. Solai has 30 years of specialized wastewater engineering and project management experience for major wastewater treatment plant upgrades and solid waste facilities for large municipal utilities. He most recently served as Office Director for the firm's New York operations.

In his new role as Principal and Managing Director, Solai will have overall responsibility for directing the firm's technical and business operations in the northeast, including New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. "Solai is an accomplished engineer and leader with a proven track record for successfully delivering high-quality projects and sustainable solutions that benefit our clients," said Andy Richardson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. A registered Professional Engineer, Solai holds an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. He is an active member of the Water Environment Federation, the New York Water Environment Association, and the New Jersey Water Environment Association. He is also a member of the Municipal Engineers of the City of New York.
