Hairline to Host Live Demo and Webinar on PRP + ECM Therapy for Hair Regrowth on June 8

Hairline International Hair and Skin Clinic is gearing up to conduct a webinar on currently popular hair regrowth therapy of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) + Extracellular Matrix (ECM) at the RT Nagar outlet on Wednesday, June 8th. This live demonstration, lasting approximately an hour will be conducted by Dr. Dinesh Gowda, Dermatosurgeon, Hairline International.

The webinar will be a unique initiative and will showcase the hair regrowth procedure PRP where a thin needle is inserted into the scalp with the patient's own plasma that is platelet filled.

"Injected this way, the growth factors present in the blood cells will naturally stimulate hair growth," explains Dr. Dinesh Gowda. "This procedure is further enhanced with the use of ECM made by ACell. This is a wound-healing material used to regenerate human tissue like skin and muscle. When used in treating hair loss, ECM stimulates the body's production of adult stem cells, which appears to clinically repair hair follicles and encourage growth."

This therapy form is used extensively for the treatment of alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia internationally. While it is administered as a standalone treatment form, it is also done to improve recovery and enhance the results of a hair transplant surgery. PRP has the innate ability, which is still being researched to stimulate cell activity that improves the healing of wounds and naturally stimulate skin and hair follicles.

The webinar will be available for viewing on the Hairline website for the length of its procedure. The duration of the procedure is likely to be around 1.5 hours.
