The Indo-Canadian Cancer Research Foundation (ICRRF) was established in 2007 to create awareness about cancer amongst people, particularly young people around the world, using the legend of Terry Fox, a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist, as inspiration to not only create cancer awareness but also to motivate people to participate in creating further awareness and to help raise funds for supporting research for potential cures.

A 25-year-old female, is suffering from B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-ALL) - a type of blood cancer.
Until four years ago, she was living a normal life that any young girl on the verge of womanhood lives, studying to be a chartered accountant, dreams of supporting her family and maybe have a family of her own, one day. Just when she was about to take the step into a professional world, she was diagnosed with blood cancer. Her dreams came crashing down.
She is a young, promising girl, who certainly would pursue her career as a chartered accountant and live a normal life, given the chance of her transplant being funded. She can be a productive member of the society and give something back to the society.
To support the promising girl and spread awareness, the Harley Davidson Owners' Group - Delhi Chapter Ride was organized at The Canadian High Commission on 17 Nov 2013 to make a contribution that can be life changing for many.

'YouWeCan', an initiative of Yuvraj Singh Foundation, aims to generate extensive awareness for cancer as a major life-threatening disease and endeavor to save as many lives by creating consciousness for early detection, were the Cause Partners for this event. Dr. Nitesh Rohatgi, Board Member, You We Can was also present at the event. He passionately works for the cause and says, "Our ethos is to increase awareness and screen for cancer. We have done a lot of work on awareness. YouWeCan has been an integral part of one of the largest screening camps in the world with the Punjab Government and Max Hospital. Don't underestimate the power of increasing awareness about cancer."
