Kaizen, India's first education focussed private equity fund has made a Series A investment of USD 4.1 million in Impartus Innovations. Impartus is bringing videos into mainstream learning, through its flagship products in Lecture Capture (automated classroom recording and distribution) and Flipped Classroom. Impartus is working on global innovations in the field of video intelligence and is the clear market leader in its space in India.
Within a short span of time, Impartus boasts of 40+ universities and schools pan India as its clients, with more than 2,000+ hours per day of videos getting recorded, processed and distributed online to students and faculties. Some of the prominent institutes using Impartus are IIM Bangalore, SP Jain Mumbai, PES Institute of Technology Bangalore, BMS College of Engineering Bangalore, Manipal Group, Shiv Nadar Group, Podar Group, Great Lakes Chennai. Impartus has also entered into a partnership with Pearson India for distribution of its Lecture Capture solution and integrating it with Pearson's e-learning products.
