The event was also marked by the presence of Mr. K. T. Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology, Government of Telangana, and Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary - IT, Electronics and Communications Department, Government of Telangana, who spoke about the importance of affordable computing devices for consumers and the various initiatives to catalyse technology uptake in the State. The Hon'ble IT Minister also presented the 14.1" ThinBook to its first few owners from Telangana, who had pre-booked the revolutionary device along with thousands of other Indians.
