UBM India today flagged off the 9th edition of its largest business event catering to the Indian food market, the Food Ingredients & Health Ingredients 2014 (Fi & Hi India 2014). The three-day event is held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai from 29th September to 1st October 2014. The show brings together on one platform, the Indian food industry's leading decision-makers, experts, buyers, producers and suppliers.

On the sidelines of the three-day event, Fi & Hi 2014 is also holding a national seminar on 'Innovative Food Ingredients & Additives and their Role in the Development of Food Processing'. The seminar is organised in association with All India Food Processors' Association (AIFPA). The on-site seminar will be attended by industry leaders, who will highlight innovations in food ingredients and opportunities in nutraceuticals. The event created especially for the food processing companies is supported from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

During the inaugural ceremony of the Bakery Workshop, a book aptly title 'Handbook of Regulatory Requirements for Bakery Industry' was also released. The book is a one-stop solution for the bakery industry detailing the effective ways of managing compliance issues with all regulatory requirements.
Amongst other key attractions during Fi & Hi 2014, the 'The Discovery Tour', will allow visitors, a self-guided tour of the fair to meet and interact with leading exhibitors in the areas of healthy reformulation and functional ingredients.
