50% injury reduction at Alfa Laval India factories
Alfa Laval India Private Limited has recently received an award for the company's safety program from FM Global USA. FM Global is one of the world's largest commercial and industrial property insurers. This international recognition coincides with the Alfa Laval India achieving 50% reduction in injuries since 2015. The company intends to further improve safety on its premises by targeting another 30% reduction in injuries by 2020. Alfa Laval India, which is aiming to maintain its record of zero fatalities and Loss Times Injury (LTI), has performed better as compared with its own safety targets in the last two (2) years.

Alfa Laval has also seen significant improvement in water and energy conservation at its factories in India. In the current year, the company, at its Dapodi factory reduced its average water consumption by over 35% from the legally permissible limit. Alfa Laval India has also achieved 5% reduction in energy consumption in India over 2017-18.
