iSEED Announces New Board Members and Formation of iSEED Academic Advisory Board

Eminent Professors/Academicians From Renowned International and National Universities, Colleges and Institutes, Part of the Board

iSEED, a unique educational institution offering India's first full time 1-year post-graduate level program in entrepreneurship, today announced the constitution of a high-level Academic Advisory Board. The Board will constitute of eminent professors and academicians from renowned international/national universities, colleges and institutes. Members of the board include global luminaries from the academic world like Dr. Chris Van Der Hoven, Innovation Strategy Expert, Former Professor at Cranfield University, Ph.D, Cambridge University and Founder, Crowd Cabin; Dr. Jaideep Prabhu, Jawaharlal Nehru Professor, Cambridge University; Prof. R. C. Bhattacharya, Vice Chairman, Globsyn Business School; Prof. Sudhir  K. Dr. Chris Van Der Hoven

Innovation Strategy Expert, Former Professor at Cranfield University, Ph.D, Cambridge University and Founder, Crowd Cabin

Former Professor of Innovation at Cranfield School of Management and the Director of the Managing Strategic Innovation Theme is also a founder of Crowd Cabin - a crowd-funding platform, his PhD at Cambridge University explored the role of innovation and technology leaders when planning or reacting to major contextual or business discontinuities.

Prof. R. C. Bhattacharya

Vice Chairman, Globsyn Business School

Prof. Bhattacharya is an educationist for more than 20 years. He is a metallurgist by qualification and a very successful corporate executive with firms like British Oxygen Company and Aditya Birla Group, Professor Bhattacharya has been teaching various aspects of Marketing and Strategic management at the IIM Kolkata for over 20 years.

Prof. Sudhir K. Jain

Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and Professor, Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi

Prof. Jain specializes in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Managerial Economics and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). He has earlier served as Executive Director, National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development (NIESBUD) under the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. He was a Visiting Professor at Mongolian Technical University, Ulaanbaatar in 1996.

Dr. Paritosh C. Basu,

Senior Professor, NMIMS University

Dr. Basu moved from industry to academics when he joined NMIMS University at Senior Professor of Finance. Earlier, he was the Group Controller of Essar Group, Joint President and CFO of Reliance Communications Ltd. He is also in the process of patent registration in India and the USA. He has conducted large number of training and development programs for Universities, IIMs, Chambers of Commerce and Corporate Houses.

Dr. Jaideep Prabhu

Jawaharlal Nehru Professor, Cambridge University

Dr. Jaideep Prabhu is Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business and Enterprise and director of the Centre for India & Global Business at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He has held positions at Imperial College London, Tilburg University (the Netherlands), and UCLA.His research interests are in marketing, innovation, strategy, and international business. His current research is on the globalization of innovation, and the role of emerging economies in this process. 

Mr. Amit Kaushik

Educationist, Former Civil Servant

He is a retired civil servant with Government of India with rich experience in the areas of infrastructure finance and education. At Ministry of Human Resource Development, he was associated with the development and implementation of policies related to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. He has worked closely on the 2005 draft of the Right to Education Bill, based on which The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, has recently been passed.

Dr. P. Sigamani

Visiting Professor, University of Minnesota

Dr. Sigamani P is an Visiting Research Professor under Raman Scholarship in Public Health at the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, USA,and in India. He is Professor in the area of healthcare management, public policy analysis and human resource management at the Department of Social Work, UGC Centre of Advanced Study, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
