ISG Announces Doubling of Workforce in India

STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Services Group (ISG) (NASDAQ: III), a leading technology insights, market intelligence and advisory services company, announced today the doubling of its India workforce in the last 15 months.

ISG now employs 200 people in India, up from 100 in August 2011. At the time, the firm predicted its India operations would double in size by 2013.

ISG entered India in 2005 to leverage the opportunities offered by the country's vast talent pool, high capital efficiency and favorable local market dynamics. The firm's operations, based in central Bangalore, now provide service and support for ISG clients around the world.

The firm's growth in India has been fueled by demand for ISG Managed Services, which provides post-contract governance for outsourcing clients worldwide. The India operations has also seen significant demand for Consulting and Research resources from both domestic and global clients.
