From Wednesday 22 April, Kildare Village, in association with Irish Design 2015 (ID2015), will present 'In the Fold' - an exclusive exhibition showcasing the work of the most exciting and emerging young Irish fashion design talent.

Kildare Village has partnered with ID2015 to present the installation, which explores how young Irish graduates use fashion as a creative response to their environment and reveals how cultural identity is formed and refined by what is around us. Complementing each other perfectly, the designers exhibit a consistent aesthetic and approach resulting in a beautifully curated output.
Curated by Gemma A Williams - a London-based Irish curator - and under the direction of Fashion & Textiles Advisor, Aisling Farinella, 'In The Fold' premiered at the International Fashion Showcase 2015 and launched at London Fashion Week earlier this year. This is the first time that the exhibition - which will showcase the work of designers Rory Parnell Mooney, Michael Stewart, Caoimhe Mac Naoise , Richard Malone, Jocelyn Murray Boyne, Oliver Duncan and Laura Kinsella - has been shown in Ireland.
Guests to Kildare Village will have the unique opportunity to peruse the work of these innovative young designers and attend a series of fashion and design focused events at Kildare Village throughout the month of May. The series of events - hosted by Kate Coleman from Le Cool Dublin - will allow guests and design aficionados to meet with some of the designers and engage with them around each unique area of expertise. Meet with milliner Laura Kinsella for a Millinery Workshop on Saturday 9 May, join Wexford native and London-based designer Richard Malone on Thursday 14 May to discuss the 'Sustainability of Fashion', or learn the ropes from Donegal-based weaver Oliver Duncan Doherty at 'The Craft of Weaving' on Saturday 23 May.
