Immersive 3D sound experience
Always looking to adapt new technologies ahead of the competition, AM Studios recently decided to enrich its recording studios with the Auro 11.1 creative tool suite, developed by Auro Technologies. The Auro 11.1 format by Barco offers the power to turn conventional cinema audio into a fully immersive 3D sound experience, with sounds coming from all around and above the listeners.
This new deal underlines the importance of the film industry, in India and worldwide, to both Barco and Auro Technologies. These partners constantly look to foster and support creative sound designers and engineers in the adoption of immersive audio. The world-class installation currently taking place at AM Studios will provide its customers with the most advanced mixing environment in India.
Also, the sound mixing for Maryan, which is an upcoming Tamil drama thriller film directed by Bharat Bala starring Dhanush alongside Parvathi Menon has been done using Auro 11.1 by Barco.
