Consumers can avail this facility from their LCOs to make instant transactions such as credit card and utility bill payments, DTH/mobile recharges, account to account money transfer, cash deposit in own bank account, booking of train, bus and flight tickets and booking movie tickets, among others. Consumers can do all this on payment of a nominal charge well within the comfort of their homes or offices. They shall get a real-time receipt as confirmation of the payment or have one sent to the customers' registered mobile number, at no added cost.
Digicable has already tied up with some leading banks, mobile/DTH operators, airlines, Indian Railways and the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) to provide fast and smooth utility solution services. Digicable has a subscriber base of approx. 6 million in Kolkata.
