This cover is available for customers who use the Money Transfer service using the company's assisted model i.e. transaction executed of MMPL's 275,000 retail touch-points across the country. For all such customers, MoneyOnMobile has rolled out a Group Personal Accident insurance of up to Rs. 1 lakh for minimum one transaction per month. The cover gets activated as soon as the Money Transfer is activated automatically and is valid for one month, making it simple and convenient for the customer. Now, a MoneyOnMobile customer not only uses its services to send money to near and dear ones, but earns the additional safety net of an accidental insurance cover. The company plans to roll out this offer to individual consumer wallet customers of its MOM Wallet shortly.
