As per ASUS' estimates derived from Flipkart, 30K numbers of pre-orders have been received from 660 cities across India.

After a huge success with Zenfone 2, the company plans to target varied market segments; one being the people crazy about Selfies (Zenfone Selfie), and the other caters to superior specs offered by the two devices; Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser.

As per the internal estimates, Zenfone 2 Laser dominates as the current consumer favorite with the company seeing a complete stock-out of the device on the 3rd day of it being available for pre-order. Laser 5.5' (black color variant) is the preferred color as per the records, whose 10K units were booked alone. Owing to the unprecedented demand, the company faced a complete 100% stock-out with Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5'. But given to the consumer's demand, the company managed to refill the stocks and Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5' is available for pre-order on Flipkart now.
