OBU Smart LED TVs Launched in India With Affordable Price

India and UK-based electronics brand, OBU, on Wednesday launched new Smart TVs in India. OBU made its entry into the market with its 24-inch, 32-inch, 40-inch, and 50-inch models. 11 models are available with in-built soundbar, full HD, 4k, smart, non-smart features. OBU'S LED range start from Rs. 8,700/ to Rs. 29,999/. OBU's television sets will be manufactured in India. The Smart TVs run on Android 4.4 and above, with pre-installed apps like Gmail, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Netflix. It also features Aptoide, which allows users to download any app. The company claims that the flagship model - 50-inch, 32-inch - comes with unique design and features a golden slim frame that looks attractive.

The main unique selling proposition of OBU technology Inc.'s own brand is the jumbo extended warranty services, which has the largest service network pan India, with 350+ pin code service network. OBU claim that their onsite service will cater to the semi-urban rural area also through its network. All OBU's products come with 3-year full onsite manufacturer warranty. 

"The company has already planned its manufacturing line of LED TV for the next two quarters at Sanand, Ahmedabad. We aim to capture 1 to 2 % of total TV market share. We will mainly focus on the offline and rural market," said OBU technology CEO Aadil Arodiya.
