The panel discussion during the event, moderated by Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, also tried to analyze if enough is being done to contain radiation and to nullify its impact.

Harsaran Bir Kaur Pandey is a media-communication consultant, specializing in the field of health and development. Trained as a media professional, she was one of the pioneers of television news in India through her 14-year career with Doordarshan.
